The beach of Boukas is part of the coast of the Municipality of Messina, which has a total area of approximately 3.5 kilometers.
The Bukas beach is quite wide with fine sand. It is organized and has an abundance and variety of infrastructure. Here, in addition to refreshing dips in the waters of the Messinian Gulf, you can also do water sports. Above the Bukas beach near the road you will find a 5×5 football field, cafes and many bars, which are full of people in the summer evenings.
The Bukas beach is awarded a Blue Flag every year due to the cleanliness of its sea, but also the quality of the services it provides.
